Hello all, I listened to this song several times on now defunct internet radios, and liked it. I started looking for the lyrics a couple of weeks ago and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have them?

Ernie Clark (presuming this is the same Ernie Clark) was my father. He passed away a few years ago. I know he wrote many filk songs, but this one doesn't ring a bell. That doesn't mean anything, as he mostly active in SF filk when I was pretty young, and moved to SCA bardic when I got older. Can you remember anything about this song? There's only a handful of recordings that I have that are actually sung by him, and I'd love to add another (that I'll probably need to hunt for) to the list.

Is it possible the song might have another name?

Also, if I happen to find the lyrics, I'll get them to you.

Totally possible. The only thing that I remember is that the song started with "Come away lord (Raven?), put down your cup of ale" and it revolves around the singing character's(presumably the devil) coming to collect their due(the lord's soul) from the aforementioned lord.
