Halpz plz?

Hello folks,

This is Fallon, and I am one of those trying to make OVFF. We came last year and had a blast, and so, would like to come again. Our membership badge has already been taken are of by one of our dear friends as an early Christmas gift.

We have most, if not all, of the details worked out-we have a ride, at least, but we need a room share, and have lost the information to seek out such resources. We may also need a bit of help with food, as we still find ourselves (I am the main fronter of a multiple system, as some may already know) in a bit of a financial srtruggle. While it is a bit better than last year's situation, it is still not altogether fixed as yet. Unfortunately.

If anyone could point us in the correct direction for roomshare info, I would be much appreciated. Also if this post is not allowed, I do appologize, but this is the only place I felt I could go.

I recommend that you also try Filker on FB, aa well as the OVFF page there.

...oooh, thank you. :) Didn't know either existed. I saw the actual OVFF site with the programs and stuff, but I didn't know they had an FB page as well, so thank you.

Quick guide to filking on Facebook:

Filker: the old general-purpose filk group

F Is For Filker: the new general-purpose filk group, created because of unhappiness with the admin team of Filker. Lower traffic.

Filk Marketplace: Notices on records, kickstarters and so on in filk and related fields.

Then some of the cons and regional groups also have pages or groups. OVFF has one, as Eric noted.

I found filker, and am now a member. (Under the walletname; it's different than the one I go by here.)

However, I'm having the devil of a time finding the FB page for OVFF.

It looks like someone beat me to the room share post in Filker... :d
