Jordin Kare memorial filk at Boskone

Boskone 2018 will, instead of having a Featured Filker as it has for about 20 years, dedicate its filk program to the memory of Jordin Kare. Tentative plans include a concert of his works and themed song circles appropriate to him (space flight and parody, for example).

If anyone is interested in getting involved in this, I can get you in touch with Priscilla. She's especially hoping to get Featured Filkers from previous years.

Great cons think alike! I've reached out to the head of Balticon's science track about scheduling a Songs of Jordin Kare session. On their track and in their room, but I'll provide the performers. Might even do it as a sing-along, since there will be a video projector available. Not as grand a scheme as Boskone's, but then we have Tim Griffin as our Music GOH.

We're planning on Boskone, so I'm willing to participate anywhere they'll have me.
