I just got off the phone with Deb Wunder. She told me that Rennie Levine was found dead in her apartment yesterday. She didn't know the cause of death.

Rennie used to be very active in filk, specializing in bawdy songs. She'll be missed very much.

And Karen Anderson

Locus reports that Karen Anderson has died. If any one person deserves to be called the founder of filk, it was her.
