Miles and Miles

There are several filks [ETA: about Miles Vorkosigan] of Hedy West's folk song "500 Miles", such as Lee Gold's "Aral's Lament".  "Lord, there's one! Lord, there's two! Lord, there's three! Lord, there's four!  Lord, there's five hundred Miles in our home."

Are there any of the Proclaimers' "500 Miles"?  Something like "And I would clone 500 Miles / And I would clone 500 more / And send them off to Ceta Prime / And start an interstellar war" or whatever?

And in double-checking my details for this post, I see that there's also a "2000 Miles" by the Pretenders, which I don't think I'd ever heard of before.

Song: Get a Clue

My entry in the ConCertino song contest on the topic "Clues" was one of the runners-up. I like it when a song gets lots of people singing along on its first performance.

Get a Clue Lyrics: Gary McGath, Copyright 2018 Music: John Lennon and Paul McCartney, “Let It Be” When you read a post on Facebook, And you don’t know if it’s true, Here are words of wisdom: Get a clue. If you get an email warning Which was written in Two Thousand Two, Think before you forward, Get a clue. Get a clue, get a clue, get a clue, get a clue. Not all news is real news. Get a clue. And when the empty headed people Posting on the Net tell you Trump was born in Russia, get a clue. For though five thousand shared the tale, There’s nothing there but much ado. Find a better answer, get a clue. Get a clue, get a clue, get a clue, get a clue. Find a better answer, get a clue. Get a clue, get a clue, get a clue, get a clue. Not all news is real news. Get a clue.
